I think we&#039;ll start to see a lot of these &quot;nonsense&quot; deals that were cut by states to private entities in the boom times start to come under more scrutiny.  I&#039;d love to see the state of california&#039;s dole list and the insane giveaways that are sure to pock the state budget.  &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I guess the return needs to be calculated to be totally fair. For instance I&#039;m sure there is a report detailing the additional tax and commerce dollars that these facilities will bring the city. Their validity is no-doubt in question due to the changing economic realities.  But either way it is a gross amount of money that could go to an overcrowded school, or other civic structures as you outline above.</description>
