hi guys I have Accredited home loan of 340,000 (100% financed) and the current value has gone down to 240,000.
Tried fixing rate or any kind of loan adjustment with Accredited, but no help. From next month I am goin to stop my mortgage paymnets. It makes no business sense to keep paying on 340,000 when exactly it is worth of 240,000. As a purchaser I bought house not a TV or some small thing, I can not afford to loose all hard earned money against non existant value. what you can advise me.

I refied into a AHL loan. I’ve been laid off twice since then. Yes, they make annoying calls, but if you preset your payment dates, they won’t continue to call. AHL has worked with me to get me back on my feet, and I appreciate that. No-one enjoys getting a call from their home lender, but its necessary for companies to do it so they can get paid. To a degree, making your payments on time is the best thing anyone can do now. Realistically, not everyone can do that, especially in today’s market. I don’t know what the answer is… but I don’t think any one group is the blame for the mess. We ALL created our bad economy. Let’s stop pointing the finger and work together to fix it.

i have ahl and i hate it they should have never took our refinancing what they should have said is you are in a great mortgage and we will just hurt you in the long run but did they no so i’m close to forecloser trying to see a light at the end of the tunnel they put my in an adjustible rate mortgage when we left a fixed rate they think they help people but they really hurt them im not saying that our money troubles are their problem but they should have never given us that loan with my husbands credit or income. and the late night phone calls the expressed mail sent to the house threating me are rude they would save money if they didnt waste their time telling me what i know im behind well duh but let me go pick from my money tree out back!!! and to all these mortgage guys calling out dennis dont you think your being rude. two wrongs dont make a right. grow up and act your age!!!
