We were forced to have flood insurance after refinancing in 2003. Purchased amount annually to cover what was owed to satisfy Ameriquest. Then Citi Res. aquired our mort. No problems. Then Citi Res sold our loan to American Home Mort. After receiving "Welcome Letter: American Home wants us to have flood ins. on replacement value of property. 3X's amount what we pay. What a nice unexpected bill to add to financial problems at this time. This is their so called "higher level of customer satisfaction. They should be ashamed. Hard times for all Americans. Maybe they should change their name.
