What this country needs is a good depression - to teach people the value of the dollar (dropping every day) and that they shouldn't pay good money for something they can get for free (water). Citi may tank or it may not, but either way, this country is in for a period where we're going to have to live beneath our means to make up for the years we lived beyond our means. It'll be tough (and will hurt the most vulnerable the most), but we'll be the better for it when it's finally done.
