Hey people, if you could have the power to print money out of thin air and then loan it to others at an interest rate that YOU set, wouldn't that give you a certain degree of power and control over EVERYTHING? Well folks, that's the truth about the federal reserve and just who IS the federal reserve? A private corporation that is really nothing more than a group of extremely wealthy people that own the central banks. They created investment banks as vehicles to sell their wares and they control that as well and those who control the printing of money and interest rates control us. The people that are now pointing the finger at mortgage brokers as the cause are shifting blame from the real culprits. Kinda like Hitler blaming the jews for ruining Germany and burning down the Reichstag. Brokers were needed to spread debt quickly and at the least expense to banks. Free money came about because they wanted as many people owing them as possible but they had to make the transition gradual so as to make it appear as a natural transgression. Now that the debt instruments have been distributed far and wide, the need for brokers is gone because they have a captured audience that HAS to come to them now if they want a loan and since they are in they are in debt with a mortgage(s), they HAVE to go somewhere. In other words, this was all planned. We were utilized as a distribution network created for the purpose of getting as many people in debt as possible. Did I already say that? It bears repeating. The truth will set us all free so educate yourselves instead of just believing all the bs in the media. Fox news is pretty much all censored before anything goes on the air so if you believe that stuff, you are absolutely crazy. Here are a couple of links to movies that will tend to open your minds and explain a lot of things that may not make sense now.

Check em out and then please comment here as I would like to hear opinions...

Greg,

Are you okay there? Get ahold of yourself. Take a Lipitor pill before your LDL cholesterol levels send you into a full blown heart attack. Then, we would REALLY have to call this the blown mortgage blog.

There are lots of people who agree with one or two things you're saying :)

Hi Krista,

Calif mortgage brokers owe fiduciary duties to consumers? Well that just blows my theory that fiduciary duties would be good for the industry.

Calif is one of the top states for originating subprime toxic loans and has a high foreclosure rate.

What gives?

I find it entertaining to read the blogs here but the truth about all of this still eludes even the most educated and experienced people in our business. There ARE lies everywhere and things are screwed up for sure...but the reason for this happening is linked to something far bigger than the mortgage business. It would take me a very long time to explain it here but I will leave a link to a web page that has the answer already written in the form of a brief by Ed Rivera, a genius of a man that discovered the REAL truth. To convince skeptics, Ed Rivera and Chris Hansen, his writing partner, have produced the definitive CD book on the federal courts and how they were formed. "What Happened to Justice? Why You Can't Get Justice in Federal Courts and What to Do About It" It is a massive book of nearly 6,000 pages and it leaves no doubt that the Supreme Court is without judicial power.

And the article link is here:

I left the business 3 years ago when things were still going strong but I saw what was happening and wanted no part of it. There are few businesses that offer the huge monetary returns of an LO but that is intentional because we are conduits for the fed and big banks and they want us to get EVERYONE in debt. Good luck people and one last suggestion...watch the movie "ZEITGEIST" on Google video. It is very educational and will open your eyes to a new perspective. Cheers

I love this Countrywide stuff. As a broker since 1986, it gives me some confidence in our industry to see that some people "get it". If you have been sending and are currently sending CW your loans, you're a fool. Why on earth you would support a company that has made part of it's business model, to agressively solicit your clients that you have sent them, is just plain stupid. The reason some brokers have and do, is because they have been in the business for less that 8 years, and have no client retention systems setup of there own. It was not important when the loans were flowing, but today, theye will regret it. Pick up the phone and call some past clients you closed with CW, CW has already been there and you have forever lost a client.

Sure CW services 1 in 7 loans in this country and therefore it is impossible to control your client relationships, but to "give" the client to them, a real competitor, you should really just get out of the business or go to work directly with them, at least that way you will eliminate your overhead.

James

You closed 300 deals with Countrywide last year?
Give me a break. Most brkers use at least a dozen wholesalers.
Given this, what, are you one of the largest brokers in the country?
