You have to see this video of Jim Cramer on CNBC who makes John Cleese playing the character of a stressed psycho Southern England hotel owner Basil Fawlty of the 1970s BBC comedy series Fawlty Towers seem sane. There is enough material for a whole conference! This will make you laugh based on Cramer's antics and I will leave you to judge whether or not he should be committed to an unstitutional - not a financial one of course. I do like CNBC's disclaimer or perhaps should be renamed discramer! LOL.

Abrey - that would be interesting information to have, unfortunately i don't think we'll be able to get it from anywhere but if they are a lender in the alt-a area they are most likely feeling the effects of the recent market developments.

DC & the mortgagebrat - you are both correct. it seems so far fetched that such established institutions would act so irrationally that they would yank, simultaneously, nearly $4 million simply because of a web site post.

Russ - I agree it will be amazing to hear why WaMu and Credit Suisse eschewed traditional due diligence in the extension or revocation of credit in favor of a post on a rumor-mill. I doubt that has the legal legs LCC claims it does right now.

Schahrzad - Legal expenses are not always awarded; but hopefully they will be included by Aaron's legal team. Thanks for the mention on the premium subscription - its a great way to get inside information and support their right to operate their web site.

It is silly to propose that creditors would cut off a profitable and creditworthy customer and lose all that potential profit.

WAMU and Credit Suisse are not in the business of NOT loaning money. They are in the business of making profits on loans, and would not base such important business decisions to a internet blog.

LCC's claims are just laughable. Really.

Mtg Implode is the best source of timely reality in this depressing mtg/housing market. It doesn't sugar coat- just reports reality (or as close as it can get to it) based on info from fairly reliable sources.
