The bond/CMO/CDO holders are not federally insured this time, but some of the big pension fund holders have some sort of Federal Pension Guaranty fund. I would surely not want to be a Wall Streeter who lost money in the Teamsters pension fund. Last year's $billion bonus pool will not keep them out of Jimmy Hoffa's retirement pool.
