I have often told retail mortgage reps to NEVER offer to do the "tough loans" for Realtors. Instead, position yourself as the expert-advice lender for high net-worth clients. Why? You get EXACTLY what you request. Sometimes the calls take longer to come in but wouldn't you rather have a bunch of Realtors think of you as "that savvy mortgage rep" rather than the "miracle worker"? Insightful comments, Morgan.
