In this edition of the Blown Mortgage Podcast Interview series we talk with Jillayne Schlicke of the Ethical Lending Foundation based in Washington State. Jillayne is a founder of the organization which promotes ethical lending standards for all mortgage originators.
Jillayne also writes for Rain City Guide, a Seattle, Washington-based real estate blog.
Jillayne discusses the need for self-regulation in the mortgage industry and the benefits that loan originators can realize by aligning themselves with the Ethical Lending Foundation and accepting fiduciary responsibility when conducting their business.
A timely interview to say the least.
