How did housing become so hip?

by Morgan on May 17, 2007

The Dr. Housing Bubble Blog has a great post titled "Why Did the Housing Phenomenon Spread?" and analyzes the rapid growth of the housing bubble through the lens of best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell’s Tipping Point principles.

He makes some great points, and reminds us of the key milestones that got us here including an irresponsible monetary policy, Alan Greenspan promoting ARM loans, and the full-throttle put to the MBS market.

It’s a good read and a succinct look at the spread of the housing bubble craze.
