When Banks Compete, You Lose

I recently penned another article for the Bloodhound Realty Blog that I contribute to titled "When Banks Compete, You Lose" that focuses on some of the mistakes that consumers make when shopping for a mortgage.

Some of it is a bit counter-intuitive but vital to protecting your interests as a consumer when shopping for a new home loan.  It focuses on choosing your originator before worrying about closing costs, rates and fees on a good faith estimate – and how in fact, focusing on those elements first can lead you right in to the unscrupulous lender’s hands.

I appreciate your feedback on the topic.
