This belief system is wrong and more rampant than many believe. Just review the comments from the CAR and the NAR in the past several weeks. Thousands of Americans are going to be knee-deep in financial difficulty due to their own personal poor judgement and financial illiteracy. But somebody really should call out these so-called professional organizations on their assertions. They have been effectively cheerleading the market all the way to disaster.
