Public Citizen’s Consumer Law & Policy Blog reports that "Maxed Out" a documentary that will do to the credit industry what "Super Size Me" did to fast food has opened in select cities across the country. They have the details on it and I’ve reposted the trailer below.
It looks like an excellent documentary on America’s obsession with debt and our inability as a country to save money. America actually has a negative savings rate which means that we actually spend more than we make – and the only way to do that is to go in to debt. I plan on getting my entire company to go see this so that they can have empathy for the people that we are trying to help every day get out from under mountains of debt.
